 Ravi Subramanian, an alumnus of IIM Bangalore, has spent two decades working with global banks in India. All of his works are having his experiences with this world of global banks. He has written If God Was a Banker, The Incredible Banker, The Bankster, Bankerupt and God is a Gamer is the latest work of Ravi. 

Plot: 3/5. 

The plot is the same as other works of Ravi. Revolving around mysteries, secret money, global banks, Foreigner locations and unlimited money along with powerful women characters. Writing Style: 4/5 Here comes ‘God is a Gamer’, one more thriller from Ravi Subramanian. I have read two of his works, The Bankster and God is a Gamer. I found them to be similar with background of global banks, rude CEOs and powerful women characters. The thing I love the most about his novels is the grip it creates on readers. This time Ravi has brought out the concept of Bitcoins, which is quite impressive. The novel starts with an assassination of Gillian Tan and after that one by one murders occur, involving FBI and CBI making the scandal international. In this work Ravi has also included one new craze among people and it is of playing games. How these gaming companies operate and what’s their strategy? I must say, I liked this work of Ravi because it is bit different from other popular fictions now a day flooding the market. It provides reader very good knowledge about gaming world and many more aspects. The cover page of the novel is quite stunning and once again as per trademark, the cover page includes a man in dark shadow. This very feature on cover page arises a mystery as at the end of his works villain is such a character who seems a puppet at beginning. Cover pages of his novels always attract me and this one also took my heart away. Ravi has power to present woman as a weaker as well as a stronger one. His characters have deep secrets within them which amuses reader at the end. Characters like Swami, Malvika reminded me of few characters from Bankster. Tanya, Varun and Gillian are the amusing ones. This time I felt that cops are not presented in a dashing avatar, yet quite intellectual. Same is the case with few characters of God is a Gamer. As it is a thriller fiction, much revelation may destroy the thrill of reading the novel. Writing style of Ravi is fantastic one as he has that power to keep reader engrossed in novel fully. I have read many thrillers and very few have this capacity to keep reader engrossed. 

This work is a good one, yet those who are expecting something unusual or different will be disappointed. It seems similar to The Bankster as it is the only another work I read from same author. 

My overall rating for this work is 3/5.
